Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Surrey in critical condition

A pedestrian is in critical condition in hospital after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday in Surrey’s Newton neighbourhood.
Surrey Mounties initially said the collision happened between a transit bus and a pedestrian. However they later clarified that the pedestrian was struck by a “passenger vehicle” shortly before 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of 68 Avenue and 152 Street.
RCMP say the pedestrian suffered potentially life threatening injuries.
