Parachutist saved after getting stuck on Stawamus Chief

A BASE jumper who was spotted hanging on the side of the Stawamus Chief on Thursday afternoon has been flown to safety by a Squamish Search and Rescue helicopter crew.
Paramedics are still examining the parachutist, but Squamish Search and Rescue manager Landon James told reporters he was conscious and speaking with rescuers.
