Opinion: Reaching renewable community targets takes commitment

As we witness the human suffering and catastrophic losses caused by flooding throughout Canada and around the world, forest fires here in B.C., a devastating hurricane season in the Atlantic and other disasters that have swept across the globe this year, it’s clear climate change is playing a role in both the frequency and severity of extreme-weather events.
It’s encouraging then to see British Columbians supporting important humanitarian relief efforts, while also taking local actio
