One man dead in Surrey shooting Friday night

Homicide detectives have been called in after one man was shot dead in Surrey Friday night.
 
Surrey RCMP say shortly after 7 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 6500-block of 137A Street.  
 
A man suffering from gunshot injuries was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
 
Investigators believe the shooting was targeted and that both the suspect and victim knew each other. No arrests have been made.
