One dead, vehicle torched after shooting in Surrey Friday evening

The homicide team has been called in after a fatal shooting in Surrey Friday evening.
Surrey RCMP were called to the 13900-block of 58A Avenue on reports of a shooting at about 7:15 p.m.
An adult victim was found suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim died at the scene.
“Shortly after the shooting was reported, Surrey RCMP was also alerted to a vehicle on fire in the area of King George Boulevard and Colebrook Road,” said RCMP spokeswoman Cpl. Elenore Sturko in a release.
