No charges laid against officer in crash that killed B.C. Mountie

VICTORIA — No charges will be laid against an RCMP officer who tried to stop a pickup truck moments before it crashed into a marked police car in suburban Victoria, killing another Mountie.
B.C.’s prosecution service says there is not enough evidence to approve charges against the officer, who has not been named.
