NDP could call byelections for both Vancouver city and school board

VICTORIA — B.C.’s incoming NDP government says it’s willing to hold byelections for a vacant Vancouver city council seat and the Vancouver school board at the same time.
“Our highest priority is to do what’s in the best interests of people and our kids’ education,” the NDP said in a statement Wednesday.
“We will look at this option and be in discussion with the City of Vancouver.”
