An order for two vegetarian and two vegan meals from a table of four women is nothing unusual, especially in Vancouver. Except this time, it was in a steakhouse.
And also unusual, when I visited Elisa Steakhouse, two foursomes of young women sat nearby; at another, a family celebrating a young girl’s birthday.
