Metro Vancouver air quality advisory issued due to B.C. wildfires

Metro Vancouver has issued an air quality advisory for both Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley Regional District due to high concentrations of smoke drifting down from wildfires in the interior of the province.
Fine particulate matter — airborne solids and liquids — can penetrate indoors due to their small size and may sicken people who have diabetes, asthma, lung or heart disease.
