Mariners to honour Ladner’s James Paxton with Canada Day bobblehead night

The Seattle Mariners have announced that they will honour star pitcher James Paxton of Ladner, B.C., with his first ever bobblehead night.
James Paxton “Big Maple” Bobblehead Day is scheduled for Sunday, July 1, otherwise known in Paxton’s home country as Canada Day.
As the Mariners said in a tweet announcing the promotion, “it had to be done.”
It had to be done.
