Maple Ridge’s Tyler O’Neill is starting to heat up.
The Seattle Mariners outfield prospect belted two home runs in a game for the second time in less than two weeks on Tuesday night, leading his triple-A Tacoma Rainiers to a 12-4 win over the Reno Aces in Reno. He finished 3-for-5 with three RBI.
He was hitting .214, with six homers, on June 22. In the next 12 games, he hit .340, with seven homers, to go along with 17 RBI.
