Man who had loaded gun on Vancouver street avoids jail sentence

A Vancouver man who was arrested with a loaded gun outside a pawn shop on Granville Street has avoided a jail sentence.
Kristopher Richard Rubner, who pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a loaded prohibited firearm, has received a conditional sentence of two years less a day to be served in the community.
