Man stabbed on Halloween night in New Westminster

One man is in serious condition after a targeted stabbing in New Westminster on Halloween night.
New Westminster police say at around 11:30 p.m. officers were called to the area of 8th Street and Columbia Street for a report of an assault with a weapon, believed to be a knife.
When they arrived, officers found one injured male. He was transported to a local area hospital with a serious injury.
Police arrested two suspects, who were found nearby.
