Live: Polls open Monday for Burnaby South byelection

The Burnaby South byelection takes place today.
Burnaby South was vacated by former New Democrat MP Kennedy Stewart last October, when he was voted in as Vancouver’s mayor.
Those hoping to fill the empty seat include NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh – who is vying for a seat in Parliament – Liberal Richard T. Lee, Conservative Jay Shin, independent candidates Terry Grimwood and Valentine Wu, and People’s Party of Canada candidate Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson.
