Letters: Just ban one-time use cups and the whining will quickly fade

Why can’t Vancouver ban one-time use cups? Why are we again putting convenience before the environment? Let’s make our children proud. Let’s not put money and convenience before their future.
Try us. Ban single-use container and watch how fast habits change. Raise the bar. It’s time. Honestly, this is getting ridiculous. If we want take out, then we can bring our reusable containers. If we want coffee, we can keep some mugs in the car.
