Instead of an apple, how about nominating your teacher for a new B.C.-wide award of excellence?
Nominations are now open for the newly established Premier’s Awards for Excellence in Education, which acknowledge educators who go above and beyond. (Though if we’re being frank, that’s the majority of all teachers.)
