Kamloops high-risk police operation ends peacefully with one man arrested

KAMLOOPS — A high-risk police operation at a trailer park in the city that shut down a nearby elementary school and businesses ended peacefully with one man arrested, RCMP said Saturday.
Cpl. Jodi Shelkie said there was a significant police presence at the G & M Trailer Park on Friday, in an incident involving a suspect who was believed to be armed.
Police didn’t say whether the man was facing any charges.
