ICBC urges pedestrian safety as injuries typically double in winter
The number of pedestrians injuries each year from October to January have typically doubled due to bad weather and decreased daylight, prompting the Insurance Corporation of B.C. to issue their annual safety warning as the fall gets underway.
On Tuesday, ICBC announced its seasonal pedestrian safety campaign, urging both pedestrians and drivers to be aware of changing weather conditions and earlier nightfall when out on the roads.
