Historic Kelowna packing house now produces cider, table wine and bubbles

In 2008, Jennifer Molgat feared that municipal inspectors would oppose a tasting room licence for her new The View Winery & Vineyard in Kelowna. She thought they might not like the look of the packing house where the winery and its sister producer Wards Cider are located. Built circa 1922, it is the oldest winery building in the Okanagan.
Molgat need not have worried. The inspectors loved the structurally sound building, which now also houses the winery’s charming tasting room.
