Highway 1 reopens after serious crash near Langley

Highway 1 has reopened after a serious a car accident just east of 232nd Street in Langley.
All eastbound lanes and one westbound lane were closed as emergency personnel attended to the crash, which occurred around 7:30 p.m.
According to reports, the crash was a head-on collision between two cars that caused one vehicle to burst into flames.
An air ambulance was dispatched to the scene, and one person was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
