Highway 1 reopens after large fire at Abbotsford mill Wednesday

Roads in and out of Abbotsford were snarled Wednesday evening after a large fire broke out at a mill on the west side of the city. 
The blaze, which has been extinguished except for a few hot spots, according to Abbotsford fire chief Don Beer, was located at Precision Custom, a lumber yard at the 30500 block of Matsqui Place, just across the freeway from the Highstreet Shopping Centre. 
Precision Custom specializes in dry wood and had two kiln buildings that were at risk.
