Highway 1 now fully re-opened at Bridal Falls

Crews have finished clearing debris from the roadway of the Trans-Canada Highway east of Chilliwack and the vital road link to B.C.’s interior is completely open once again.
Three mudslides near Bridal Falls completely closed the road last Thursday. The highway was partially re-opened over the weekend, but the right-most lane for eastbound traffic remained closed on Sunday.
Work continued Monday to remove the remaining debris from the road and to rebuild the shoulders of the highway. Late
