Highway 1 almost fully reopened days after mudslides near Bridal Falls

Crews have nearly completed cleared a trio of mudslides that had been blocking Highway 1 east of Chilliwack, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure announced in a media release Sunday.
The three mudslides closed the road Thursday morning near Bridal Falls, following a heavy rain storm.
At noon Sunday, the ministry said two lanes for westbound traffic and a single lane for eastbound traffic were now cleared.
