High winds coming to Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley

High winds have been forecast for Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement at 4 p.m., warning wind gusts up to 80 km/hr. were expected to development overnight Sunday.
Vancouver, Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford and Chilliwack were among the areas to be impacted.
The predicted heavy winds were due to a cold air mass spreading throughout the B.C. Interior that will arrive in Metro Vancouver Sunday night.
