Health Canada warns about EpiPen shortage

Canadians who are used to carrying an EpiPen with them — or people who are trained to use them — should check the expiry dates on their stock as supplies are running low.
EpiPens deliver doses of adrenaline to patients who are at risk of going into anaphylactic shock from an allergic reaction. They are the only such device available in Canada.
Health Canada says they’ve been advised by the makers of EpiPen, Pfizer Canada, that devices that deliver a 0.3 mg dose of adrenaline is
