Giants move one step closer to first B.C. title since 2009-10

The Vancouver Giants can clinch their first B.C. Division title since 2009-10 as early as Saturday night.
Vancouver’s 4-0 win over the Victoria Royals Friday at the Langley Events Centre gave the Giants (40-14-2-1) a 20-point lead on the second-place Royals (30-25-1-2) with 10 games left in Victoria’s season.
Vancouver needs a single point in its remaining 11 games to claim the B.C. banner.. They’re at Victoria Saturday (7:05 p.m., Spice 1200) as part of a weekend tripleheader
