Giants add experience in trade for Red Deer’s Dmytriw

The Vancouver Giants are a little older, a little more wily.
The Giants landed 19-year-old right winger Jared Dmytriw (Dih-Meee-Trew) from the Red Deer Rebels on Tuesday in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2018 WHL bantam draft.
The Craven, Sask., native is expected to join the Giants on Wednesday, meaning that he’ll miss Vancouver’s game Tuesday against the Seattle Thunderbirds. He should debut in Giants garb on the weekend on the road trip to Prince George.
