Four people died in separate B.C. highway crashes since Friday

Mounties say four people have died in separate crashes since Friday on British Columbia highways.
On Jan. 4, police say a vehicle carrying two women on Highway 1 near the community of Field crossed the centre line and hit an oncoming transport truck.
The vehicle passenger, an Alberta resident, was killed and the driver has serious injuries, but the driver of the truck was not hurt.
