Editorial: Audit of legislative spending could prove embarrassing for many

Last month, this newspaper argued in an editorial that British Columbians deserved to know what was behind the “mysterious criminal investigation of legislative clerk Craig James and sergeant-at-arms Gary Lenz, as well as their suspensions from their jobs.” We cannot abide secrecy at the heart of our most important democratic institution — the B.C. legislature.
