Deadly rabbit virus reaches animal shelter in Richmond

A deadly rabbit virus that’s 95-per-cent fatal has reached the Regional Animal Protection Society in Richmond.
Called rabbit hemorrhagic disease, the virus that causes the disease is airborne and highly contagious. It isn’t communicable to other animals or humans.
