Daphne Bramham: Bountiful parents jailed for trafficking 13-year-old

CRANBROOK – For the first time, a fundamentalist Mormon woman has been convicted and jailed for her role in the polygamous marriage of her under-aged daughter.
Emily Ruth Gail Blackmore, 60, was sentenced Friday to seven months in jail and 18 months’ probation for the removal of her 13-year-old daughter from Canada for an unlawful purpose.
The girl’s 71-year-old father, Brandon James Blackmore, was sentenced to 12 months in jail and 18 months’ probation.
