Claire Eccles will return to HarbourCats next year after historic first season

Claire Eccles was no one-trick pony. No one-season pony, either.
The White Rock native and member of the UBC women’s softball team became the first female to play in the West Coast League last year when she appeared in eight games, including two starts. The team announced Wednesday that the fan favourite will return for the 2018 season, along with another popular player, switch-hitting versatile outfielder Ethan Lopez.
