The Washington Capitals delivered one Thursday and it was wrapped in fancy paper and a big bow. The Presidents’ Trophy winners went so quietly into the night that the only loud sound at Rogers Arena was the end boards rattling with their defencemen getting stapled and pucks being turned over.
