Stargazers will be in for a treat on Sunday night, when the total lunar eclipse and super moon will light up the sky over Metro Vancouver. The moon will turn a copper orange colour as the earth blocks out the light from the sun. This phenomenon leads to what is known as a blood moon. And, January’s super moon is also called a wolf moon. So it will be a super wolf blood moon. Sounds pretty cool, right? Unless you are werewolf. Then you should probably stay chained up indoors.
