Butterflies released at B.C. care homes to honour those lost during pandemic

Care homes around the province held special ceremonies Friday afternoon. A total of one thousand butterflies were released at 24 different locations in honour of those we’ve lost and the survivors of COVID-19. Residents of long term care homes have been one of the hardest hit groups during the pandemic.
