Burglars bite, scratch West Vancouver homeowners during violent break-in

A 43-year-old woman was arrested after a residential break-in turned violent in West Vancouver on Monday night.
West Van police say a home under renovation in the 1100-block Crestline Road was broken into at around 9 p.m.
The homeowners, who weren’t at home, were alerted to the break-in by checking a surveillance system. Instead of calling police, cops say the couple returned to their house where they confronted two female intruders inside.
