B.C. Wildfires: Surrounded First Nation stands ground to save community
ANAHAM — The Tl’etinqox First Nation is a community trying to defend itself from fire in almost every direction.
The community, also known as Anaham, has chosen not to evacuate, and hundreds of people have stayed put to fight fires, build fireguards and provide logistical support, as well as food and supplies.
