B.C. sex-sting operation based on Ontario’s. How effective are they?

Setting up a sting operation to catch adults buying sex from children is a successful policing technique that is one part of a strategy to try to deter the widespread abuse, said a high-ranking officer from the Ontario force that shared the idea with Vancouver police.
Vancouver’s nine-day sting last year led to the arrest of 47 “johns” who agreed to meet who they thought were teen girls in a hotel. Instead they were greeted by police officers and detectives who arrested them fo
