B.C. Premier John Horgan wants 'peaceful resolution' to LNG pipeline impasse

Premier John Horgan said Wednesday he wants a “peaceful resolution” to the impasse in northern B.C. as early as possible, following the arrests at a First Nations blockade of an LNG pipeline project route.
Horgan reiterated his position that the LNG company has met its obligations for consultation with First Nations, and that the project will benefit the Indigenous people in the region.
He said he has spoken with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and is confident a peaceful resoluti
