B.C. government to change rules for 2018 local elections

VICTORA – B.C. Municipal Affairs Minister Selina Robinson is set to announce changes to the province’s 2018 municipal elections.
Robinson will hold a press conference at the legislature at 2:45 p.m. Monday to discuss “changes that will affect the 2018 general local elections,” alongside Union of B.C. Municipalities president Wendy Booth and Oak Bay mayor Nils Jensen.
