B.C. government moves towards electronic traffic tickets
Your next speeding ticket could be an electronic one.
On Wednesday, the B.C. government introduced electronic ticketing legislation it says will lead to safer roads and allow people to pay their traffic fines online through ICBC. The existing payment options are by phone, mail, or in person.
If passed, the province claims eTicketing will eliminate data entry errors and improve ticket processing speed.
