B.C. Ferries closing Duke Point for two days to replace vehicle ramp

B.C. Ferries is closing Duke Point, south of Nanaimo, for two days later this month to replace the vehicle ramp at the facility.
During the two-day closure, which will be on weekend of Jan. 26 and 27, customers who would normally travel between Tsawwassen and Duke Point will instead arrive at or depart from Departure Bay in Nanaimo.
B.C. Ferries says it chose those the dates because they are traditionally among the least busy travel days of the year.
