He’s looking for a location in Chinatown for his neon sign in Chinese characters that says Saltwater City Vancouver. It was created as part of his year-long residency at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden which culminates with the exhibition Suk-Fong Nay Ho Mah? Suk-Fong, How Are You? based on 700 letters sent to his mother Suk-Fong from relatives and friends in China. The exhibition opens Saturday, Jan. 12.
