Accidents close Highway 1 to westbound traffic in Langley for nine hours

Seven people were taken to hospital after seven vehicles were involved in a pair of crashes that closed Highway 1 for hours on Friday.
According to B.C. RCMP, the first accident involved five vehicles and took place around 9:30 a.m.
Three semi-trucks, one commercial box truck, and a van were involved in the crash in the westbound lanes of Highway 1 near 245th Street in Langley.
