Abbotsford barn fire kills thousands of chickens

A midday inferno consumed a chicken barn in Abbotsford Tuesday.
It’s believed as many as 10,000 chickens may have been in the barn at 4062 Ross Road.
The Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service received a call at about 12:45 p.m. When the first units arrived, the barn was completely on fire.
