37,000 people now evacuated from their homes across B.C.

ALEXANDRIA — At the Moffat Ranch, built in 1883, Christina Moffat and Sean Gilkerson are keeping a close eye on the skyline and the weather as more wind and possibly lightning was forecast for Sunday.
In the southwest sky a huge cloud formation mixed with smoke was a dramatic sight.
About 30 kilometres south of the ranch, at about 3 p.m., waves of thunder rattled the air and lightning flashed.
Several communities in the Cariboo, including Williams Lake and Quesnel, have been evacuated
