TTC spokesperson ‘optimistic’ a deal will be reached

Nearly 12,000 TTC workers could walk off the job as early as Friday, if the transit agency and Amalgamated Transit Union 113 don't agree on a new contract. TTC spokesperson Stuart Green says he’s optimistic that the two sides will be able to come to an agreement, but the public should be aware that there's still a "remote possibility" a strike could happen.
