TTC knew about broken switch years before January subway derailment and didn't fix it

The TTC knew a part meant to prevent subway cars from derailing was missing near its Keele Yard for two and a half years before a Jan. 2020 incident that shut down Line 2 subway service for an entire morning rush hour, but inexplicably failed to replace it.
