Toronto’s Pride celebrations are almost here, but next year’s may have to be scaled back

Pride Toronto says it’s facing a funding shortfall of roughly $700,000 and expects to run a deficit this year. The organization’s executive director, Kojo Modeste, is now warning that the shortfall could put a strain on next year's festival.
