Second Harvest opens Etobicoke food processing facility for school programs

As back-to-school season takes full effect, a Canada-wide organization that rescues surplus food from suppliers and retailers is opening a new food processing facility in Etobicoke for school programs. Second Harvest will take food that would otherwise be bound for landfills, and repurpose into healthy snacks for students.
